I made this Mother's Day card and was asked for the recipe, so I thought that it would be better to post this on my blog, rather  than take up a lot of space on a FB page.

This card is  5 x 7. The first layer is black card stock cut at 4  7/8" x 6  7/8". The second layer is white card stock cut at 4  3/4 "x 6  3/4" , and embossed with  a Cuttlebug folder. The two dies cuts are from spellbinders called Floral Ovals . The roses and leaves are from the Art Philosophy cartridge. The large center rose was cut at 3" and the smaller ones were cut at 2.5" (keep in mind that measurements are the height when cutting with the cricut). Buds were made by rolling up about 1/3 of the small rose, and then cutting off the excess. The small spray of  leaves were cut at 2 ", and the individual leaves were cut at 1". I used a glue dot to hold the bud together.
Four sprays of the small leaves were placed first, then added the roses, and then added the individual leaves, using them to cover the open ends of the buds. The embellishments are Opaque Adhesive Gems(black) from CTMH. I really enjoyed making this card and made several. It would make a nice Birthday or Wedding card. Hope you try it.
