Halloween Tree

I made a couple of Medallion Christmas trees using a tutorial that I found on line . I wanted to make a Halloween tree that was taller and more conical shape , so I changed the measurements and this is what I have come up with

If you do not know how to make the medallions to form this tree, click on the word tutorial in the previous paragraph, and it will link you to the tutorial that I used. Here are the measurements I used to make my tree

Medallion Tree

Measurements are from the bottom up. You will find it easiest to cut your first measurements, score your paper, then cut second measurements . Score each paper every 1/2 in on the 12 in length. They are for a small rounder tree. For the conical tree for Halloween , cut all the measurements twice, with the exception of the last and smallest one. I did not use this at all on  this tree.

12 in x 9 3/4 in
Cut 3 at 12 in x 3 1/4 in
12 in x 9 in
Cut 3 at 12 in x 3 in
12 in x 8 1/4 in
Cut 3 at 12 in x 2 3/4 in
12 in x 7 1/2 in
Cut 3at 12 in x 2 1/2 in
Use only 2 lengths and 1/2 of the 3rd
12 in x 6 3/4 in
Cut 2 at 12 in x 2 1/4 in
Use only 2 lengths and 1/2 of the 3rd
12 in x 6 in
Cut 2 at 12 in x 2 in
Use only 2 lengths and 1/2 of the 3rd
12 in x 3 1/2 in
Cut 2 at 1 3/4 in
12 in x 3 in
Cut 2 at 1 1/2 in
12 in at 2 1/2 in
Cut 2 at 1 1/4 in
12 in x 2 in
Cut 1 at 12 in at 1 in
Use only 1 length and 9” of the2nd
12 in x 1 1/2 in
Cut 1 at 12 in at 3/4 in
Use only 1 length and 6” of the2nd
12 in x 1/2 in
Cut 1
cut 18 – 1 1/2 in circles
cut 3 – 3/4 in circles

The bats and cat were cut from the Artbooking cartridge form Close To My Heart and the ghost were cut from Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge. The paper sequence is black,orange,print,black,orange,print..........etc for the entire tree.
Hope you give it a try, and make sure you make good use of all your Bits and Pieces
