Happy Birthday Mom

This weeks' design at Atlantic Heart Sketch Challenge was an interesting one. I looked at it a few times, and had a few ideas running though my head, then I saw a file for making a flower called Clematis. An idea for using the flower instanly came into my head, that fit the design. It is not often that what I see in my head actually comes out on the paper, but this time, I am happy to say it did, and I love the outcome. This also fit into an order I had, so  bonus, this card is doing double duty!!
Here is this weeks sketch, and here is my take.

I found the cutting file at SVG Cuts. I love thier cutting files, and now with my new Cricut Explore, there are so many more options for me to choose from. I am also very pleased to say, that SVG has given me permission to sell my cards and finished products locally,  using their cut files and I am thrilled.
Here also is the matching gift box I always  include to give my 3D cards in.

As always, I use CTMH card stock for my projects. Only four colors here. Smokey Plum, Honey,Topiary, and White Daisy. The background was embossed with the dot folder. The trellis and trellis leaves are from a cricut cartridge called Bloom, the mom, from Mother's Day 2010, and the  Happy Birthday , from Paper Lace.
I had a great time making this card. I hope I have inspired you to try your hand at making flowers, and don't forget to use all your little bits and pieces
