This weeks sketch is interesting, and although I love flowers, have done so many I felt like I needed to change things up.
After some thought, this is what I came up with. I decided to make a party invitation. With hubby's 65th birthday coming this month, it will be just the thing. Although I am pretty sure I will have to change the colors for his invitations............LOL
I used left over bits of paper, and cut out 3 balloons at 2.5" from the Artiste Cartridge (accent 3). The words "party time" were cut at 2" , and although I jotted down the size, I neglected to check which cart I got this from. I went back in to the Cricut Craft Room, hit search images, typed in party time, and none of the images matched. Not sure why that happened. Even went back and did it again........nothing. So if any of you know from whence this came, please let my know so I can pass it on.(sorry). The bakers twine is also from CTMH, and I just tied little bows around the bottom of each balloon, attached some to the back, the gathered it under the band across the bottom. I used little bits of paper of coordinating colors, and glued it to the back to show through the "highlight" hole in each balloon. This really was a very fast card to do, and I used all my bits and pieces. Thanks for stopping by .
This is a fabulous birthday card, I love the balloons. Great card.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun and colorful card! I wish I could get CCR to work for me - it looks like an amazing aid to using the cartridges! Great job!
