Glittering Poinsettia

Now, I suppose some of you are not thinking Christmas yet, but I need to get a move on or I won't be ready!!!. This weeks sketch over at Atlantic Heart Sketch Challenge  just called out for a poinsettia, and I always think  glitter and white when thinking poinsettia. I very seldom will do one in red, unless asked.

My poinsettia  was cut with a die cut from Spellbinders, called , you guessed it, Poinsettia. It is by far ,my favorite one, and I use it often for my Christmas Cards.

I used the wonderful Glitter Paper (silver) from CTMH  to layer all my cut pieces on. If you have not seen it yet, click on the shop with me, and go have a look. It comes in fab colors and is a great price !! The dots were embossed with a Cuttlebug folder, and the holly and ivy was embossed with a sizzix folder. The Merry Christmas was from a previous SOTM from CTMH. I heat embossed it with silver embossing powder. The gem in the centre was from some bling in my stash.
I hope this has inspired you to make your own, and maybe even join us at Atlantic Hearts Challenge. If you have not done so, come on over. It is lots of fun !!
Have a great week, and don't forget to make good use of all your bits and pieces !!
